Vertical Multistage Centrifugal Pump

Product Introduction The Series is a high-performance, non-self-priming vertical multistage centrifugal pump, engineered to deliver high-pressure water in a highly efficient and compact design. Its key feature is the “multistage” construction, which allows it to generate significant pressure without requiring a large motor or massive footprint. This makes it the leading solution for pressure boosting in water supply systems, high-pressure industrial processes, and water treatment applications where efficiency and space are critical.

Design Philosophy & Construction The pump is designed to generate high pressure through a series of compounding stages.

  • Vertical Multistage Design: The pump consists of a series of impellers and diffusers (stages) stacked vertically on a single common shaft, all enclosed within a sleek, cylindrical stainless steel casing. It works like a series of individual pumps stacked on top of each other; the water enters the first stage, its pressure is boosted, and it’s then channeled to the inlet of the next stage, where the pressure is boosted again. This compounding effect allows the pump to achieve very high discharge pressures efficiently.
  • Inline Connections: The suction and discharge ports are located at the base of the pump on the same horizontal plane (inline). This allows for simple and direct installation into a straight run of pipe, saving space and reducing piping complexity.
  • Material Variations (CDL vs. CDLF):
    • CDL: The standard version features a cast iron base and connection ports, and is intended for clean, non-corrosive liquids like domestic water.
    • CDLF: This version features all wetted parts (base, ports, and all internal components) made from stainless steel, making it ideal for mildly corrosive liquids, high-purity water, or sanitary applications.

Key Features & Benefits

  • High-Pressure Performance: The multistage design is the most efficient way to generate high pressures, making it perfect for boosting water to high-rise buildings or for processes requiring high head.
  • Exceptional Energy Efficiency: The advanced hydraulic design of each stage results in very high pump efficiency, which significantly reduces electricity consumption and operating costs.
  • Extremely Compact Footprint: The vertical, inline design takes up a fraction of the floor space of a comparable horizontal pump, making it ideal for installation in tight mechanical rooms.
  • Quiet and Reliable Operation: The precision manufacturing, robust construction, and inherent balance of the design result in very quiet, low-vibration performance and a long service life.
  • Versatile Options: With both cast iron (CDL) and all-stainless-steel (CDLF) versions available, the pump can be perfectly matched to a wide variety of applications.

Common Applications The pump is the premier choice for any application requiring efficient pressure boosting:

  • Building Water Supply: The core component of pressure booster sets for supplying water to high-rise apartments, hotels, hospitals, and office towers.
  • Industrial Processes: Providing high-pressure water for boiler feed systems, industrial washing and cleaning machines, and machine tool cooling.
  • Water Treatment: The standard choice as a high-pressure feed pump for reverse osmosis (RO) and ultra-filtration (UF) systems.
  • Agricultural Irrigation: Boosting pressure for high-pressure sprinkler, pivot, and misting irrigation systems.
  • Fire-Fighting Systems: Often used as a jockey pump to maintain pressure in fire sprinkler and hydrant systems.
