Submersible Non-Clog Sewage Pump

Product Introduction The Series is a heavy-duty submersible pump engineered to handle the toughest wastewater and raw sewage applications. Its integrated, waterproof motor and non-clog pump design allow the entire unit to be submerged directly into the liquid, providing a simple, reliable, and efficient solution for moving solids-laden fluids. It is the workhorse pump for municipal lift stations, industrial wastewater pits, septic systems, and any application requiring the powerful and dependable removal of sewage.

Design Philosophy & Construction The pump is purpose-built for submerged, solids-handling duty, with a design focused on reliability and preventing clogs.

  • Fully Submersible Motor: The pump’s motor is protected inside a rugged, hermetically sealed, waterproof housing, typically made of cast iron. The motor cavity is often filled with dielectric oil, which helps to dissipate heat and lubricate the seals and bearings, ensuring a long service life even under continuous submerged operation.
  • Non-Clog Impeller Design: The key to its sewage-handling ability is a specialized non-clog impeller. This can be a vortex impeller (which creates a whirlpool to move solids without them touching the impeller) or a wide-vane impeller. This design allows the pump to easily pass large soft solids, fibrous materials, and other debris commonly found in wastewater without clogging.
  • Dual Mechanical Seal System: For maximum motor protection, the pump uses a dual seal arrangement. Two independent mechanical seals are mounted in an oil-filled chamber between the pump and the motor. This provides a double barrier of protection, ensuring the pumped liquid cannot enter the motor housing.
  • Automatic Operation: These pumps are typically installed with external float switches for fully automatic, unattended operation. The pump will switch on when the liquid level rises to a set point and turn off once the sump has been drained.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Superior Solids Handling: The specialized non-clog impeller and wide-passage volute are designed to efficiently pass large solids and fibrous materials found in raw sewage.
  • Simple and Economical Installation: With no need for a separate foundation, complex mounting, or long shaft alignment, installation is as simple as lowering the pump into the sump and connecting the discharge pipe and power cable.
  • Reliable, Unattended Operation: When paired with a level control system (like float switches), the pump provides dependable, automatic drainage 24/7.
  • Quiet & Vibration-Free: Operating fully submerged in the liquid naturally dampens noise and vibration, resulting in very quiet operation.
  • Enhanced Motor Protection: The sealed housing and dual mechanical seals provide the ultimate protection for the motor, ensuring durability and a long operational lifespan.

Common Applications The Series is the standard solution for moving sewage and wastewater:

  • Municipal Sewage Lift Stations: Pumping raw sewage from residential and commercial areas up to main sewer lines or treatment plants.
  • Industrial Wastewater: Transferring effluent and process waste from factories and industrial sites.
  • Septic Systems & Residential Waste: Emptying septic tanks and pumping sewage from building basements.
  • Construction Sites: Dewatering muddy water and slurry from excavations.
  • Agriculture: Pumping manure slurry and other agricultural wastewater.
