Vertical Inline Hot Water pump

Product Introduction The Series is the high-temperature evolution of our standard inline pump, specifically engineered for the circulation and pressure boosting of hot water. While retaining the same exceptional space-saving design and high efficiency, the pump is upgraded with heat-resistant components, most notably a specialized mechanical seal. This makes it the perfect, reliable choice for hot water applications such as boiler feed, district heating systems, and industrial process heating where standard pumps would quickly fail.

Design Philosophy & Construction The pump builds upon the proven inline design with critical upgrades for high-temperature durability.

  • Upgraded for Hot Water Service: The key to the pump’s performance is its ability to handle heat. This is achieved through:
    • High-Temperature Mechanical Seal: The pump is fitted with a mechanical seal specifically designed for hot water. It utilizes heat-resistant elastomers like Viton® (FKM) and durable, hard-wearing seal faces like Silicon Carbide, which prevent leaks and ensure a long service life at elevated temperatures.
    • Heat-Resistant Components: All other critical components, from gaskets to motor grease, are selected for their ability to perform reliably in continuous hot water service, typically up to 120°C (248°F).
  • Proven Inline Design: The pump retains the highly efficient vertical inline configuration. The motor is mounted directly above the pump, allowing the unit to be installed as a simple component in a straight pipe run, which saves floor space and simplifies installation.
  • Direct-Coupled Reliability: The impeller is mounted on an extended motor shaft, creating a single, perfectly aligned rotating unit. This monoblock design ensures quiet, low-vibration operation and enhances the overall reliability of the pump.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Reliable Hot Water Performance: The specialized high-temperature mechanical seal and heat-resistant components are designed to provide a long, leak-free service life in hot water applications.
  • Maintains All Inline Advantages: Delivers the same major space savings, simplified piping installation, and quiet operation as the standard ISG series.
  • Prevents Premature Seal Failure: Using a pump with a standard seal in hot water can lead to rapid failure; the pump is built to prevent this, ensuring system uptime.
  • High Efficiency, Low Energy Use: The optimized hydraulic design minimizes energy consumption, which is critical in continuously running heating circulation loops.
  • Easy to Service: The back pull-out construction allows for maintenance of the motor, impeller, and seal without removing the pump casing from the pipeline.

Common Applications The pump is the ideal pump for any application involving the circulation or boosting of hot water:

Hot Water Pressure Boosting: Increasing pressure in domestic and industrial hot water supply systems.

Boiler Feed and Circulation: The primary pump for circulating hot water in commercial and industrial boiler systems.

District Heating Networks: Pumping hot water from a central plant through a network to heat residential and commercial buildings.

HVAC Heating Systems: Circulating hot water through the heating loops of large-scale HVAC systems.

Industrial Process Heating: Supplying hot water for heat exchangers, jacketed vessels, and other process needs in manufacturing.
