Inline Sewage Cutter Pump

Product Introduction The Series is a heavy-duty, non-clog vertical inline pump engineered for pipeline installation in the most demanding wastewater applications. It is specifically designed to handle raw sewage, industrial sludge, and effluent containing large solids and abrasive materials. By combining a clog-proof hydraulic design with a space-saving inline configuration, the pump offers a highly reliable, low-maintenance solution for municipal sewage transfer and industrial waste processing.

Design Philosophy & Construction The pump is built for maximum durability and clog-free performance in a pipeline setting.

  • Vertical Inline Pipeline Layout: The pump is designed to become an integral part of the piping system. Its vertical motor orientation saves significant floor space, while the inline suction and discharge nozzles simplify pipe runs. This allows for easy installation in both new and existing pipelines, often eliminating the need for a separate wet well and submersible pumps.
  • Wear-Resistant, Non-Clog Hydraulics: The key to the pump’s performance is its wide-passage volute casing and a specially designed single-vane or vortex impeller. These components are constructed from highly durable and abrasion-resistant materials like ductile iron or high-chrome iron, enabling the pump to easily pass large solids, fibrous materials, sand, and grit without clogging or excessive wear.
  • Optional Cutter/Grinder System: For applications involving particularly difficult materials like textiles or plastics, the pump can be fitted with a hardened cutter mechanism at the suction inlet. This system actively shreds and macerates tough solids before they enter the pump, providing the ultimate protection against blockages.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Clog-Proof Operation: The wide-passage impeller and volute are specifically designed to handle raw sewage and industrial waste with large solids, ensuring reliable, uninterrupted performance.
  • Excellent Wear Resistance: The robust construction with hard metal options provides superior durability and a long service life when pumping abrasive slurries and sludge.
  • Saves Installation Space and Cost: The vertical inline design has a minimal footprint and can eliminate the need for a costly wet-well/submersible pump station.
  • Easy to Service: The pump is dry-installed with a standard motor, making inspection and maintenance far easier than with a submersible pump. Many models feature a back pull-out design for servicing without disturbing the pipeline.
  • Direct Pipeline Performance: As a pipeline pump, it efficiently transfers waste over long distances without the need for an intermediate collection sump.

Common Applications The Series is the ideal choice for in-pipe sewage and sludge handling:

  • Municipal Sewage Transfer: Installing directly into main sewer lines to boost flow or transfer sewage between treatment stages.
  • Industrial Sludge and Wastewater: Pumping abrasive or solids-laden waste streams from manufacturing plants, food processors, and chemical facilities.
  • Food Processing & Meat Rendering: Transferring waste products, offal, and wastewater containing organic solids.
  • Construction and Mining: Used in pipeline systems for transferring slurry and muddy water.
  • Agriculture & Biogas: Pumping manure, digested organic matter, and other agricultural slurries.
